AliveCor, the leader in FDA-cleared mobile electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) technology for mobile devices, today announced it is integrating weight and activity reading across iOS and Android platforms, enabling consumers to now capture five of the most important factors for evaluating the risk of cardiovascular disease: heart rhythm, blood pressure, weight, physical activity and resting heart rate. The company also announced Monday a collaboration with Mayo Clinic ( see release here ) and recently reached a major heart health milestone, with over 10 million user ECGs recorded.

Android and iOS users will now be able to track their body weight from the Kardia app, by manually entering weight into the app or by accessing Apple Health or Google Fit. Android users can now manage blood pressure results by manually entering data or accessing the readings from Google Fit.
